Based on the personal experience of recovering from depression this painting is the first one in collection with “I Will Strive For The Light”. The dynamic brushstrokes and domination of darker hues are representing the overwhelming swirl of darkness. The center elements are strong in their effort to move out of the tangle and into the light. There’s hope because they finally reach the opening in the darkness and the tangles holding them becoming weaker.
